I feel like the spoil sport here. The photographs are indeed beautiful. I have a problem with a couple of the captions. Thurgood Marshall graduated from Lincoln University and Howard University School of Law, not Harvard. I was taught that the first permanent English colony in British North America was Jamestown, Virginia, not St. Mary's, Maryland. If those captions are incorrect, then what about the others. I don't recall ever having to return an item to Amazon. I am considering returning this book.Product details

A wonderful book with lots of great pictures. My husband and I were looking for places to visit on day trips, and this book suits that need perfectly.
This book has some beautiful photographs of Maryland. It a perfect representation of the diversity of the state, and covers all of the major areas very well. We gave this book as a gift for someone who is moving out of state, and they loved it.
