The characters are flawed and heroic; the stories intricate without being complicated. There is a good amount of mystery and intrigue. The storytelling is logical with the right amount of emotion. I am no critic, but I love a good read and every one of the books in this series has done something to boost my moral compass, expand my humanity and helped me to better appreciate the people who are in the trenches everyday dealing with the muck of our society. So happy that I have found so many great authors on . Paul Bishop rates at the top of the list with Fey Croaker and her crew. Here’s to more enjoyable future reading.
I have enjoyed the Det Croaker books and look forward to reading additional books. I hope that the author continues to write for this series.
Read the series...you won't be disappointed. Paul was an LAPD cop who knows the real world of law enforcement and crime and how to write about it.
I r really like the characters in this book. I hated getting to the end o this series. Wish Paul Bishop would revive Fey Croaker.
Fey Croaker and her team win again. I would recommend this series to all lovers of good mystery novels.
I hope there will be more instalments soon.
Always enjoy any of Bishops books, and if one takes this one for what it is, have to enjoy it also. Just two neatly wrapped short stories that can hold your interest, and you would enjoy, and would be able to finish on your lunch hour or a short plane flight.
